About

Tres Carnales Rostizado

We opened in Summer 2014 in Edmonton’s 101-year old Mercer Building in Edmonton, Alberta’s downtown 104 Street warehouse district.

Here, laid-back nuevo latino cooking is enjoyed in a bright hip and urban environment. Just as Latin American dishes influence global culinary culture from the Middle East to France, Spain to the ancient Mayans, the diverse culinary riches found across the 32 states of Mexico serve as inspiration for Tres Carnales at this new concept in Edmonton.

Rostizado directly translates to “roasted” and sums in a word how fresh, quality local ingredients are tended in traditional-Mexican roasterie fashion: slow-cooked, heartening and distinctly chingón.

The 2,900-square-feet of reclaimed space has been thoughtfully designed by to balance drama with a casual, welcoming vibe. Let’s call it mid-century modern meets Mexico in Canada. Find four well-defined, but flowing sections mixing up the experience and energy. Come for a drink, botanas, big meal or intimate-group get-together.

Our commitment to using the freshest possible ingredients
is evident in every bite. Everything is scratch-made daily,
the way it should be.
